Recently a reporter asked if there were flash cards or a program guide to keep up with the casino owners and their flip-flopping positions on gambling in Ohio. After several such conversations we are reminded of Abbott and Costello’s famous comedy routine, “Who’s on First?” The following program guide is submitted to help sort out the 2009 players on Ohio Ballot Issue #3.
The Amendments
1990 – One casino in Lorain, Ohio.
1996 – Eight casino riverboats in Ohio.
2006 – Seven racetrack casinos and two free standing casinos in Ohio.
2008 – One casino in Wilmington, Ohio.
2009 – Four casinos on specific land in Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati and Toledo.
